Barbara Robinette has a viewpoint about American life. She expresses it in the title cut "Living in Dangerous Times" and other cuts on her CD. She's influenced by Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Dylan, John Prine, Cheryl Wheeler, and Sting. "You Don't Know Anything About Me" is a quirky take on a date who seemed more interested in talking about himself than learning anything about her. On "Little Footprints" she sings to her only child about the passing of time and the growing up and away that children do. Barbara lives in Vancouver, Washington where she is a therapist and organizational trainer. She had a former career in the broadcast industry and spent many years behind a microphone as a disc jockey back when few women were in broadcasting. She is a wife and mother and recently became a grandmother. Barbara is a practicing Buddhist. Track List: 1. The River and The Highway 2. Living in Dangerous Times 3. Orion in the Sky 4.
