I had a good friend that recieved a guitar at the age of 12 and that ignited the interest that had been brewing in me frome day one. After watching the early movies at the Beacon Theater in Hopewell, Va., which include the Beatles, the Byrds sound track for "Easy Rider", and the Monkeys I've been on a musical journey through thick and thin. I wrote my first song at the age of 20 and have included some of my most favorite acoustic songs that "Looking Back" is representive of the musical and sometimes visual account of my musical life. I recorded the songs over a considerable period of time, recording or re-recording an instrument until I was totaly satisfied with the end result. Each track added, acoustic guitar, steel guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, harmonica, various percussion instruments and harmonies was a thrill to hear played back! Thank you and I hope you enjoy the music as much as I've enjoyed making it!
