From Tucson, Arizona, Puerto Rican singer-songwriter José "Pepo" Saavedra presents his second album, Versos Reversos (Verse Reverse) with a collection of songs in the folk music tradition of Latin America's Nueva Canción. Pepo and his guitar will take you on a journey with an acoustic World Music sound in Spanish and English that echoes the many places, stories, and realities portrayed through his music. The album composed and performed by the artist, features a violin and percussion duo. Combining social commentary, storytelling, and wordplay, Versos Reversos is a celebration of language, music, and poetry that invites us to reflect on what makes us human and what brings us together. Also available is José "Pepo" Saavedra's first album Veredas Verdes - Green Paths, composed of many stories, poems, and dreams written and composed through many years and in different countries.
