Dan Zanes, acclaimed singer/songwriter and former lead singer of Boston rock and roll band The Del Fuegos has started a label dedicated to making children's music for the whole family and neighborhood to enjoy. It's the sound of friends getting together and making relaxed and exciting music in a communal atmosphere. On Rocket Ship Beach, the first release from Dan's Festival Five label, the friends include Sheryl Crow, Donald Saaf, rapper Rankin' Don, Suzanne Vega, West indian vocal group The Sandy Girls and Barbara Brousal in addition to Zanes own Wonderland String Band.
