claire cropper: the artist, the intellectual, the down-to-earth everywoman, leans toward overview, the big picture. Her small songs whisper powerful symbolisms that reveal the unexpected. Listen too closely and you may hear yourself, there, between the lines.

claire cropper is a writer, poet, musician, and science enthusiast. Starting life in Texas, she eventually moved to New England where she earned a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology. Following her post-graduate studies, she spent a year in The Netherlands where she taught herself drawing and photography, and wrote her first book. Upon returning to the States, claire taught herself how to play the acoustic guitar. She then composed arrangements for a few of her poems to create "free," her first album. Her works in progress include an epistolary novel, two volumes of abstract illustrated verse (one inspired by self-directed studies in cosmology), and a collection of "word art." claire lives and works in Boston
