Tales From The Heartland, the debut cd of singer/songwriter Chuck Stoeger, has traveled many roads and they're all in the songs. This completely self-produced cd runs the gamut from wistful memories to down-right humorous anecdotes of everyday life. The opening track, Ya Love Me Baby, humorously recalls the day you realize Father Time has crept up on you, while the closing Goodbye Old Friend brings life to a full circle. In between, the songs tell of sweet and bittersweet memories that we accumulate as we pass through. It's told in a gentle way, a simple reminder of who we are. Imagine sitting on the front porch on a warm summer eve, when friends drop by & an impromptu jam begins. That's what this music is about. Acoustic based music with 6 & 12 string guitar, dobro, mandolin, & harmonica, you'll find the songs are a part of you. So take your shoes off, grab a drink, and enjoy the scenery..... Nothing's better than a sunset sky.... Track List: 1. Ya Love Me Baby 2. Little Star 3. Fare-Thee-Well My Lady 4. Night For Romance 5. You Said 6. Margaret's Coming Home Today 7. The Lottery Song 8.
