I grew up in North Dakota a place so popular that an atlas made in the 1970's neglected to add my great state to a section of the United States (yes, that is true). When my father died two years ago I was deeply affected, I found an outlet with music and a way to help me through the difficult times. My songs tend to cover topics that range from love to loss, I suppose some people would consider those common themes, but I try to put my own personal spin on each song in an attempt to be 'original'. Much of my writing has been influenced by my memories of being a child and listening to my father play guitar. His music was more inspirational and mine tends to be a little on the dark side. I have a deep appreciation for poetry and I think that my music reflects a poetic quality that seems to have left most of the music in the mainstream world. The music I write tends to, as my description notes, be folk music dressed in Jazz. The more I write the more I find my music shift towards that end. I think there is a great wealth in Jazz and have found numerous uses for it in my music. I am currently living in Grand Forks, North Dakota attempting to live the dream of playing music and being able to afford to eat. Track List: 1. It's Another Day 2. It's All Right 3. Day's Pass 4.
