It's difficult to qualify 735 Institution with a single genre. Spend an evening with the band and it will become immediately apparent, as three distinct voices along with the hanging tones of rock, folk and country meld to form what has become the 735 Institution catalog.

"This band is a melodic trio that is always sure to pack the house...735 Institution is acoustic rock with an attitude." ~ Firesign Entertainment Group

The ideals, aspirations and vision of 735 Institution were cemented in September of 2003. After a few brief jam sessions coupled with enebriated conversations about passion for music, a decision was made to join forces. Hailing from Visalia, California and Durango, Colorado, the band was quickly on its way to developing a unique rock sound that would maintain the thread of the small town. Since it's inception, 735 Institution has been touring the San Francisco bay area, playing timeless venues such as the British Bankers Club and the Blue Rock Shoot - allthewhile gaining momentum.

735I admires and is influenced by a wide array of individuals, artists and eras, which is reflected in each eclectic compilation created by the band. Musicians such as Willy Porter, Stephen Stills, Ryan Adams and John Mayer - bands such as Toad the Wet Sprocket, Pearl Jam, Jimmy Eat World and DMB; all have had their roles in shaping the poignant sound that 735 Institution presents to fans today.

The band now looks ahead to the New Year for even greater momentum. Having just completed the process of recording their first full album, the guys are eager for the release of *small town schoolyards* in early January of 2006. This, combined with a massive ramp-up in show dates, will most definitely make for an exciting spring and summer. Hope to see you around.
