Paul Adams music is quite varied from acoustic instruments (Dulcimer, Acoustic Guitar, Dobro, Mandolin.), to Ethnic and exotic instruments such as Didjerido, Percussion, Synthesizers, Banjos and Sitar. Leo Kottke, Adrian Legg, Michael Hedges, are influences. New Grass, Folk, Jazz Grass and New age are the colorations.

He has also been a maker of stringed instruments for many great musicians (Daryl Hall, members of Stevie Wonder etc.), A producer for Ray Charles arranger David Hoffman, a poet and writer.

His multi-genred approach has seen ELECTRONIC MUSICIAN Magazine to call his work "sophisticated and gorgeous!"
