Without a doubt, Andy Moore's debut release showcases her powerful potential as a singer/songwriter on the folk-rock front. Recorded in Eastern Pennsylvania with the help of Cassandra Buncie and folk-popster Eric Himan, "shifting" features the pristine vocal mastery for which Andy is now known, as well as her highly stylized acoustic 6-string.

"shifting", as the title suggests, documents the twists and turns of life's bumpy highway and has been consistently compared by many to Ani DiFranco's "Dilate" as one of the must-have so-called "break-up albums" of the young modern folk-rock generation.

Now in its second printing, "shifting" is sure to be long-hailed as a safe fall-back when dealing with those pot-holes of life.
