"WHERE ANCIENT RITUAL MEETS MODERN TECHNOLOGY"

Presenting the most exciting live PA performance in the world, the Heavyweight Dub Champion experience is like no other musical liberation movement. A live mix on 50 channels of audio, featuring 3 shamanistic sonic alchemists (Resurrector, Patch and Totter Todd), one of the best turntablists in the West (DJ Illnaughty), ceremonial guidance and hip hop divinations by A.P.O.S.T.L.E., reverence and ragga revolution represented by Stero Lion, guest appearances by Wailer B, J Criminology and others, the HDC+ Liberation Process is an extreme musical event. HDC+ music is created, performed, recorded, and manipulated in Champion Nation Studios, Colorado. All HDC+ music is fervently original and virtually all sounds are created from scratch for maximum effect on the inner-psyche. The live performance is a mixture of prerecorded Champion Nation sounds and beats individually manipulated on analog sound consoles filtered through vintage effects and layered with live performance on vintage synthesizers, saxophone, turntables (for scratching only), percussion, calculated feedback, and vocals. The HDC+ stage set consists of thousands of pounds of some of the most powerful music equipment ever made.

_The Mission:
"The Unconditional Liberation of the Human Race"

Heavyweight Dub Champion is a movement of interdimensional Warriors representing the Army of the Last Champion. The movement's source is Primal Creative Force and is presented through music, words, art, video, film, and underground web networks. The collective is centered on musical performance, which utilizes divination practices to bring the audience into a hypnotic trance. While in this trance, HDC+ infiltrates minds and removes layers of deception, thus enabling Truth to flourish. HDC+ uses sonic vibration to open channels and empower the listener. This collective artistic performance is called the Liberation Process.

"Champion Nation Revolution"

The first album release by HDC+ was "Survival Guide for the End of TIme"---
awarded Best Local Recording of 2003 by Westword Magazine in Colorado. HDC+ is currently finishing "Rise of the Champion Nation" 14 new tracks of Dub Hop featuring three tracks with KRS ONE, a track with Wu Tang Clan's Killah Priest, as well as tracks with APOSTLE, Stero Lion, Wailer B, and J Criminology. HDC+ is also finalizing a solo project with APOSTLE (his fourth full-length album), "Intelligent Movement", which also features a track with KRS ONE, as well as 16 new songs from APOSTLE.

_Live

HDC+'s extensive live performance history is highlighted by the collective's intense diversity. HDC+ shows vary from multimedia art happenings involving as many as 75 people to small electronica shows featuring instrumental sets by four of the collective's members. The show history encompasses a wide variety of musical genres. HDC+ has played reggae festivals, all night raves, hip hop shows, small electronica clubs, hippy festivals, urban dance clubs, as well as promoting over 25 of their own Liberation Process multimedia performances at theatres throughout America. HDC+ has been well received at shows featuring trip hop, reggae, drum and bass, punk rock, hip hop, house, break beat, dub, spoken word, turntablism, and even hippy jams. HDC+'s cryptic, yet progressive ideology has created firm alliances with many political movements whose members often set up information tables at HDC+ shows. HDC+ performed live on the nationally distributed , politically conscious television station Free Speech TV, as well as having a live show in syndication.

_RESURRECTOR & PATCH
founders and musical leaders of HDC+, R&P created HDC+ in 1997 with nothing but a 4 track and acoustic instruments. For years, all HDC+ music was created at 9000 ft. above sea level in a hundred year old cabin with no running water. R&P proceeded to create a new style of music featuring the use of over 50 instruments meticulously collected from a variety of global locales and time periods. Carefully formulating a rhythmic collaboration which bridges time and space, R&P made vibratory contact with multiple dimensions. In
this environment, R&P continuously received visions and guidance as they ventured through the Last Champion's Warrior Divination and began the process of bringing the
Champion's music to the Earthbound dimension. Soon, the Last Champion Manifesto materialized through great suffering and hallucinatory realizations, the Otium found its form, the Gate to Eternal Salvation swung open, and the Warriors of the Chosen began to make themselves known...

_A.P.O.S.T.L.E. - Ascending Power Over Secular Territory Liberating Earthlings

Liberation Process, Apostle is the master of ceremonies and the lead vocal. He offers rap verses and guides the Warrior Divination from the "Arrival" to "Higher Elevation".

_TOTTER TODD
A Colorado Native, T Dizzle is the third piece to the HDC+ musical triad. He is a virtuoso saxophonist, a studied jazz musician, a pagan musical shaman, and leader of many musical collectives including Totter Todd & the Well Tempered Players, the Portland-based Feral, and KWAM 333. In HDC+ he is both saxophonist and musical alchemist. Like Resurrector, he is a Religious Studies graduate and brings all sorts of spiritual power through whichever instrument or vocal he is exalting. He also occasionally breaks out some throat singing, lead vocal, or shamanistic mantra- surrounded and backed up by his entourage of interdimensional spirits. Totter's main set up in HDC+ includes a wide array of vintage fx pedals, a moog rogue, specially designed laptop running all sorts of homemade
vocal and musical samples, and a few top secret sonic torture devices such as "the dub
champion"- a handmade alteration of a earlier sonic reality.

_STERO LION
Born in Leeds, England and moved to the Bronx when he was 9, Stero has been
holding down the dancehall since he was a kid freestyling on the streets NYC. He is a Revolutionary Rasta who brings both spiritual power and deception-breaking messages in his lyrics. He is a Champion Nation footsoldier and veteran of many reggae sound systems including Progression Sound Movement. He is currently DJ and MC on two reggae radio shows.

_ILLNAUGHTY

He is an accomplished percussionist, as well as an engineering school graduate. In his turntable performances he utilizes knowledge of effects, wah pedals, and his acute sense
for production to create a sound and style all his own. Illnaughty is also owner, engineer, and chief producer for Fanbass Recordings and Studio. He is founding member of Like Minds- a hip hop collective featuring local and national emcees. He has produced and released projects for many top hip hop emcees.

Wailer has been leading spiritual revolutionaries through music in Colorado for over 10 years. He has been featured on countless releases out of Colorado over the years and has one full length self-titled album. He performs with HDC+ rarely, but is a strong presence in the studio. His lyrics vary from apocalyptic anthems such as "Burn 'em in a Flame of Fire" to rasta hymns like "Praise the Father". When not on tour with HDC+, he is represented through samples and is featured heavily on HDC+'s scratch records- so his angel-like voice is often heard manipulated through Illnaughty's turntables.
