Alien Headspace produces beat-based electronic music in a wide variety of styles. Formed in the early 1990s in the heat of the techno boom, Alien Headspace continues to produce innovative music. Since the early 1990s Alien Headspace tracks have been released by a number of labels including Volition, Gulp Communications, DumPhuk, Lacerba Recordings and Groovescooter Records and has collaborated with artists including Itch-e & Scratch-e and Mystical Sun. In the late 1990s and early 2000s Alien Headspace became involved in the mp3 movement with music hosted on mp3.com and other mp3 sites. Many thousands of tracks have been dowloaded and are some are still in evidence on the p2p networks. An Alien Headspace track entitled "dotcom" was included an mp3.com free compilations and received widespread distribution and airplay. The latest release is Random Acts which combines electronic beats and wicked guitars to create an eclectic mix of songs that explore varied music styles.
