SEX! DRUGS! ROCK AND ROLL! Wait a minute! What's this album mean? What is it all about? Well, its probably over the heads of most radio listening people who hang their listening experience from a single hook. But my vision for the project is that it is one metaphor releating to the poem At Christmas. The two worlds refrenced in that poem equal the two moods on the album. The more typical love song(Dreaming of Technicolor) versus the more experimental vibes of songs like Jungle Menace. Make sense? Didn't think so. So moving on.... SEX! DRUGS! ROCK AND ROLL! Just kidding, Vivid blue is a solo project and as such has little drama to share in this space. Examples of such drama would be bitter band feuds, gigantic worldwide hits and other exciting things that your imagination can surely conjure up if you work at it. Sadly these have not been the lot of Vivid blue and so I must not write of such things. The main member(The Main man as the hip young folks say nowdays), of this electronic audio adventure is Kmaxx, he has also remixed other artists( including such acts as The Chemical brothers, Nine inch nails, and others) as contest entries at Acid planet and other places. To a very limited extant Vivid blue has surfed the radio waves of this planet already beset by various ills. Yet despite this, the planet has survived long enough for you to read this exciting message. And so in a shamless effort at self promotion, some heartwarming reviews that Kmaxx/Vivid blue have recieved in the past follow this thrilling narrative. Yes, these reviews are included in a lame effort at encouraging you to buy the cd Technicolor in a black world. After all, making money is the whole goal of human existance, is it not? 10/10stars: Great Job! 1.31.2005 @ 7:16am I really enjoyed this. Fantastic job on this project. Keep up the great work! From: Muzikbizwiz 10/10stars: Progressive 10.23.2003 @ 11:29am Really progressive. Kind of freaky. I like the bits and pieces. Stands out. I like it! /regards Fredrik W From: Freddie Westborn 10/10stars: This ROCKS!!! 5.31.2004 @ 5:40am This is so werid and disturbing!!! I love it!! From: Fred_vahrman Remixes e-Theory - Mon 14th November, 2005 You know, there has been a lot of lame crap on electromancer lately, but this mix is a refresher of what kind of music people should be striving to make. There is great thought in this piece. With ethnic feels, cool vocal samples, ambient sounds, and a beat that brings everything to critical mass, this song is quite a pleasure to listen to. Please post more music A.S.A.P.. Don't those kind words just make you wanna haul out your credit card? I thought so, now I'll leave you to it. Thanks for reading and listening, and hopefully enjoying what you hear. But seriously...Kmaxx uses and encourages you to use eJay and Acid music software and samples. Sample use requires this notice.
