Shimmyin', shaman, showman Vic Thrill, effectronic guitarist Saturn Missile and cybersquid multi-insturmentalist Aure Dextra wax electronic over tribal punk. Their critically acclaimed record CE-5 was awarded "TOP TEN OF 2003" by David Segal of the Washington Post. "Like Bentley Rhythm Ace and The Boggs covering songs from Oh Brother Where Art Thou...clever catchy space-funk fusions of everything from Eastern European folk to world music rhythms...weird."-NME. "The perfect balance between electronica, rock and general absurdity."-CMJ

Well, I have this to say about 'Song Splat' - If you've ever wondered what goes on during the creative process for Vic Thrill (the band) this is the album for you. Any die hard Vic Thrill listener will surely enjoy the excursion that each track provides. 'Hi-engery', 'hypnotic' and 'utterly catchy' are words best used to describe the 74 minutes this cd contains.

Of the 100 copies created - the first 50 were sold via live performances. The remaining 50, which include a special silk screen wraparound print, are only available online. This is definitely a special purchase and is a great add to your music library.
