Capturing a series of subliminal sounds from our everyday suburban surroundings (field recordings) and mashing these up using modern composition techniques and processing. This & That has become a 5 track album representing rhythmic exercises that can only be described as techno'ish ambient noise. Being influenced by artists such as Four Tet and Matthew Herbet, Tom pursues to represent conceptually, the oblique areas of everyday life, finding an interest in boredom and producing sound that is empowering and captivating.
