Recording artist/songwriter, Renee Chambers, draws on a mixture of pop, and dance influences in her latest CD release, Renee Chambers, "Uncovered". "Uncovered" was produced by Mark Schulman for Jammin' Planet Productions. Mark is best known as as the guy behind the drum kit on Cher's tours. All tracks of the CD were written by Renee Chambers, herself, as well as collaborations with Rob Hayes and Bud Myrick. Renee has also established her own publishing company with BMI Music under the name of Chamberland Music. Renee was born and raised in Ontario, California. Her interest in music started when she began listening to some of her sister's records in the 70's. She quickly became influenced by such artists as The Carpenters, Linda Ronstadt, and Patsy Cline. Even at an early age, Renee's interest in music blossomed. As early as third grade, she exhibited her love of singing in many musicals. She still recalls her favorite role as "Dorothy" in The Wizard of Oz at the age of ten. While attending college at California State University, Fullerton, Renee recorded commercial and promotional spots for KIIS radio in Los Angeles as well as the syndicated "Rick Dees Weekly Top 40". She has made guest appearances on the United Way Telethon as well as KMIR TV in Palm Springs. She has showcased her singing style in Los Angeles clubs and organizations including the famous Troubadour, the Roxy, The Gig, and the National Academy of Songwriters "Acoustic Underground." While the "Uncovered" CD only scratches the surface of Renee's talent, it should serve the purpose of letting you see into her world. Also available is the previous released CD, "Jigsaw Puzzle".
