D'lovely: groove-electric:folk:pop

D'LOVELY BIO
D'loveliest music formed in early
2001 when the paths of a red-wine
intellect, Shekim, and a street-smart
whiz-kid, Clark, dramatically collided.
Along with hip radio-friendly tracks,
D'lovely brings their signature sound
--- a unique blend of Euro-dance,
folk/pop, and hip-hop/house beats.
The result: layered thoughtful
soundscapes, describes Clark.

A key selling point of the band is
that they continue to wow audiences with
shows that are either purely electronic
or purely acoustic. Through these
compelling performances D'lovely brings
back the age of the Duo. "I grew up on
Wham, Eurythmics, and Everything But
the Girl," Shekim says. "So many
amazing duos were out there in the 80's
--- in D'lovely we're bringing the
duo back."

Keep your eyes out for this dynamic
duo ---they may just inspire you to
take a taste of d'loveliest flavor
for yourself.

SIRSA SHEKIM BIO:
Born to a psychiatrist father and a former fashion model mother, Shekim had a very international upbringing. As a child she spent all her summers abroad and always knew what was on the charts in France and England. As a teen she taught herself harmonies by listening obsessively to Sade records.

Her first "break" came unexpectedly at 21 when A&R at 154 records a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, wanted to sign her. But something was missing. Curious and optimistic, in 2001 Shekim found whiz-kid Clark to add a "lovely" flavor to her mix. Today D'lovely's sweet tempered melodies inspire and enliven friends and fans alike. Shekim also has 6 songs in major feature films, including a Disney flick.
In her free time you can catch her somewhere in deep thought...

NOAH CLARK BIO:
Born the love child of the
Venice underground art scene
Noah had a very colorful
upbringing. As a child he
spent his summers wandering
the pier and listening to
how the beat of tourists
feet blended with the melody
of vagrants guitars. As a
teen he taught himself to play
on his Grandmothers out of
tune piano. At fifteen he
discovered the computerized
keyboard and the joys of it's
electronic fruits. His first
"break" came in high school
when his band was approached
by Warner Music with a
contract. But something was
missing. Searching and
incomplete, in 2001 Clark
found the sultry, cosmopolitan
Shekim to add a "lovely"
flavor to his mix. Today
D'lovely's electronic flair
has a twist of human emotion.
Clark also has written a host
of songs for movies and
television including three
blockbusters in 2002. In his
free time you can still catch
him wandering the beach.
