The latest release from the denver-based dark-electro act EMERGENCE, "Scarred ep" is a rich soundscape of dark, moody melodies, grinding guitar riffs and pounding dancefloor beats. Produced by Romell Regulacion of RAZED BLACK, this 5-track CD explores the themes of human suffering and of spiritual and emotional disfiguration. Stylistically, this release has a little something for everyone, danceable accessibility (ala VNV NATION) as well as emotional intensity and forceful, driving urgency which hearkens back to the guitar-based industrial rock of the late 90's.
