Barn Cat Records was started in response to the disappointing results of a perilous search for the deepest house sounds. DJing since birth, Brandon Rudy has always been looking for the hottest tracks. Discouraged by what he found, and unable to fulfill his musical tastes, Brandon started putting together his own tracks in 2001. After the success of the underground leak of his 2004 EP Melt Ya Decks, it was decided that an official channel for his music was neccessary. With the help of his old friend/producer Regg, Barn Cat Records was born early in 2005 with the official release of Melt Ya Decks.
