These are a few of the many accolades that have been written about Dave Osoff's music by writers from around the country. This is adventurous instrumental music bringing togethercontemporary and acid-jazz, high energy funk, rock, pop and electronica. Dave Osoff is a New England based independent recording artist and touring musician for over 15 years, and has recorded and/or performed with many top regional artists, including original funk/rock artists Vykki Vox Band, Max Creek, and Jiggle, Rounder recording artist Michelle Wilson and Evil Gal, Tone-Cool recording artist Tony Lynn Washington, singer / songwriters Pat Burtis and Jennifer Matthews, and Boston's own live trance/electronica project, Nikulydin. 'Mosaic' is Dave Osoff's debut album. This instrumental project features some of New England and New Orleans' finest musicians, including Nyno recording artist Amadee Castenell (tenor sax, flute), who currently works with Alan Toussaint, Dr. John, and the Neville Brothers, and has recorded with Paul Simon and Paul McCartney. Scott Murawski (electric guitar) of the legendary Max Creek, Erik Ringstad (acoustic and electric guitar) of the critically acclaimed Acousticity, Justin Kolack (bass) of the Vykki Vox Band and Billboard award winning Sky Piece ,and Greg Vasso (drums, percussion) of Jiggle and Max Creek, all bring an intensity of spirit and groove to these songs that is simply exciting to listen to and to be a part of. From the adventurous, acid-jazz/funk of 'Why Not?', the blistering techno-rock of 'QX5', the hypnotic grooves of 'Hannah', and high energy funk and R&B of 'Freedom/Rising' and 'Mosaic', to the uplifting pop hooks of 'On Our Way', 'Destiny' and 'Even Now', the swinging gospel flavored boogie-woogie of 'Never Enough', and the intriguing musical journeys of 'Daybreak' and 'Undercover', Dave Osoff's music offers a unique approach.
