P.O.G is an English artist living and producing ambient chill out music from his own studio in Switzerland. The album Trax, is a mixture of demos and experimental trax from P.O.G. there is a lot of diversity from pumping analogue synths to spacey chanting trax, but all slightly chilled & enchanted by the "wee Folk" Last year the track "alien spaceships (flying in formation over London).from the album Kinder Venus "was released on the EVE cover-mount CD along with "The Orb", "Groove Amada", and "Royksopp", It also featured on the Melt down CD, and in Sep 02 the Daily Star (UK) released 1.5 million CDs entitled Dawn TO Dusk also featuring the track. The album is still unsigned? but has now been released in Klein series on the p.o.g label. And is available on CD-baby &, Glarus, Peoplesound review A warm and fluid chill-out number that peaks and lulls in all the right places, providing the perfect soundtrack to an evening's relaxation. A seriously fat bass slide anchors the tune to the beats whilst the melodies - as the title of the track would suggest - echo out from the stars. Snatches of oblique conversation and twisted xylophone trills float above the groove, giving a true feeling of mellow otherworldlyness. Eve review p.o.g sails through the cosmos, oblivious to earthly care. Based in Switzerland p.o.g is a new artist - though that has not stopped him laying down a very sophisticated mix of whimsical vocals and juddering drums.
