Sassure, now based in the Austin area, has been pushing a pop/rap/rock/dance synthesis in his last two CDs, LINEAR LOVE and THE VANILLA WORLD VIEW CD. His newly released CD, DANCE IT FORWARD, attempts to move dance rhythms in even more progressive directions. "I'm here to play music, have fun, seduce the listener, break the rules, and explore the link between sex, love, and the soul" says Sassure, "though not necessarily in that order. I'm a revolutionary at heart, which means that I want to change the way things are in the world of music. If you listen to my songs, you'll see that they're mostly linear -- they develop, but don't repeat -- and they are pieces of a huge sensual sexual mystical picture."
