Anima Mundi And The Seven Last Words.

Beyond any doubt, the present world is suffering of an unprecedented values crisis. At the same time, it is difficult to rationalize the reasons behind this reality. More then ever, this demonstrate how fragile our world is.
When this happens, music can be greatly helpful. Actually, this is what our musical concept is all about : create a positive mood in relation to this question. This ability to feel things musically for possibly a better comprehension is what we call "the Anima Mundi process". In fact, music can create a link between humankind and Anima Mundi which is the soul of world.
On the other hand, in many respects the recent evolution of the world can be interpreted through The Seven Last Words of our Saviour on the Cross. Consequently, all the album’s pieces are following a thematic approach based upon those Words.
Finally, "Anima Mundi and the Last Seven Words" is a musical and modern adaptation of those Holy Words in conjonction with latin narration and gregorian.

All music composed, arranged and performed by
Nicole and Claude Laviolette.
