Alison Dawn's love of music began at a young age. Inspired by the albums of such great artists as Whitney Houston, Bette Midler, and countless others, she soon took to the microphone on her first karaoke machine when she was eight years old. Performing immediately became a love of hers, whether it was dancing, singing, or acting. Alison began professionally training her voice when she was 13 and participated in classical choir, show choir, Regional choirs and All-State Show Choir. She performed in the classical solo and ensemble festival and received superior rankings each year. The capstone of her high school performing career was with a girls-only a cappella group consisting of seven of the school's finest singers. The group, Girls Night Out, was regularly booked for local events and performed in television commercials. After high school, Alison decided to pursue music while also attending Arizona State University. During her tenure at ASU, Alison has participated in several performance projects. She has been in several local bands of varying styles and has performed her original music locally. She has also worked as a studio vocalist on several projects. Following her experiences as part of a larger group or band, Alison decided to focus her efforts on a solo career. This was achieved by working with Everett Ross-Harwood, a recording artist, professional musician, producer and songwriter. Together they co-wrote and recorded Alison's ten song demo. They continue to work together on new material. After the completion of her demo, Everett introduced Alison to David Hinojosa of Skyy Entertainment who became her manager. David is an experienced industry professional who has dedicated great amounts of time and effort to further the careers of emerging independent artists. Since then, David has introduced Alison to top recording industry professionals and has helped her to network in the music business. In the spring of 2004, Alison was given the great opportunity to contribute backup vocals to Mo Pleasure's (formerly of Earth Wind and Fire) solo album, "Elements of Pleasure." Alison has also collaborated with renowned producer, Bruce Walker, of B n B entertainment on a song for her album. Alison hopes to continue writing, recording and performing and to build her career in music. Check out the artist's website: http://www.alisondawn.com Track List: 1. Fallin 2. It's in My Eyes 3.
