This album is so special to me because it allowed me to get back to my roots of the church. I've always wanted to combine jazz and gospel and here it is. Its the way I would done the hymns but its also the tradition embedded in me that allowed this to happen. Everytime I play my horn I feel so blessed- so what better way to give praise?
