I am wired for sound: words and music--mine. "Roz Freund Sings Roz Freund" is my second cabaret CD, the first with me at the mike. Garth Ross, Artistic Director at the Millenium Stage of the Kennedy Center says of my music, "you come away wanting more, always. She weaves a spell." Nice words from a really nice guy, who has heard a lot of music. Jose Dominguez, the Director of Grants and Legislation at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, says I bring an earthy poignant sound to the scene. "Ute Lemper, that you!" he says.
