This Cd Has a very mellow groove throughtout most of its 60 minute length. There are some jazzier passages that feature the electric piano on the track "Reunion" and "Rainbows for the soul" The title track is a lengthy affair which takes the listener through several mood changes switching from major to minor keys. There are also ambient Vocals mixing gently behind in the mix on a few songs. The Sound is breathtaking and masterfully performed. The melodies are simple yet are performed with great skill and are quite soulful. There are bits of trumpet placed far behind the mix to create a very deep atmosphere. Roy Scoutz again displays his skill as an arranger,composer and Multi-instrumentist playing All the Guitars, keyboards, Hand percussion and vocals.The Violin Passages on "Islands In The Sun" are emotional and very moving. "Shadow Dance" is a piece for solo guitar and shows The composers masterful skill on the classical guitar. The Cd firmly plants Roy Scoutz at the forfront of modern instrumental Composers.
