About Robert H. Miller and "Hot Summer Nights" At the age 59, I have learned that where there is a will, there can be a way. I have been told by many that my music is extremely relaxing, that when listening to certain selections, they can remove themselves from their stressful lives, slow down, relax and enjoy the moment. Much of my music is composed from the great sounds heard in the 1920's,30's,40's and 50's eras whether it be from a big band sound to a back porch trio. Through modern day technology and the constant inspiration I receive from my wife Gail,(All my CD covers has been done by my wife)I have been given an opportunity to compose, arrange and perform what I call "dream music." By that I mean, one can close their eyes and take themselves away to a distant island, listening to the whistling palms and crashing waves, not to forget that soft island breeze against your face, or perhaps, walking in a park, hand in hand with the one you love, or the elegance you felt when attending your first formal gathering. Or could it have been your senior prom where the girl or guy of your dreams asked you for the "last dance." A starry night, the sounds of a gentle rain, the soft touch of a hand, a gentle kiss, the smell of a rose all comprise some of my feelings when I write "dream music." Personally, I always wanted to soar like an eagle. Not particularly fond of heights,I prefer to listen to "As Eagles Fly," the feature song on this CD. See if you don't agree. Track List: 1.
