Zachary Tubb Born September 26, 1977 in Nashville, TN. Attended Ezell-Harding Christian School K-12, And graduated in 1996. Attended Middle Tennessee State University for one year to study Music theory, Classical guitar, and Writing. Zachary spent much of his childhood playing baseball, But eventually quit his Senior year in high-school, and started singing in the chorus. Zachary is the grandson of the Legendary Ernest Tubb, and son of Justin Tubb, both were members of the Grand Ole Opry. So it's pretty obvious that he grew up around many of the greatest songwriters ever, and has definitely been influenced by this, as well as many of today's artists such as Dave Mathews, James Taylor, Vertical Horizon, Soul Coughing, and many, many more. Zachary has been pursuing his dreams of being a great showman as his father and grandfather once were, and to carry on the Tubb name. He has played venues such as The Blue Bird Café, Merchant's (on Broadway), The Ryman Auditorium, Courtyard Café, and The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree (broadcast on 650 wsm) Zachary has also played a couple of clubs in Upstate New York, Everydays, and The Brickyard, and will continue to slowly but surely make his way across the globe to be heard. Which is all he really wants, and that is to be heard. "So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty handed.
