Lacy was born in Lakin, Kansas to parents Mike and Mary on December 1, 1983. Her grandfather Joe Coyne, a lifelong musician, encouraged Lacy's musical ability and she was competing by the time she was six years old. Her parents were very supportive of her and by the age of ten, Lacy was well on her way to to honing a stage presence usually reserved for only the most seasoned performers.    When Lacy moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1994 her career was already beginning to soar. She performed at many various venues including the Nebraska State Fair where she recieved three standing ovations in one day. After relocating to the Ardmore, Oklahoma area, Lacy recorded her first album at the age of fifteen which featured her debut in songwriting with a song dedicated to her grandmother.    Currently Lacy is in the studio working on her first major album release. Within weeks of co-writing her first single "The Ring" with multimillion selling songwriter Ron Grimes, Lacy has had huge reaction to the record at KKAJ in Ardmore, and was featured nationally on legendary hall of fame DJ Bill Mack's syndicated Top Ten Countdown and XM satellite radio shows. Within four hours after being debuted on Dallas radio by renowned DJ Kevin McCarthy, dozens of people had called wanting to know where they could pick up the CD, prompting a pre-album release of the single version of "The Ring".              Using her perceptive writing ability combined with an emotionally honest powerful vocal delivery, Lacy has the unique ability to emotionally connect with people from all walks of life. Considering her desire to use her celebrity to help others and her unique combination of self confidence and humility, there is no doubt that Lacy Jade is well on her way to superstardom.
