BILL WARD - KEYBOARD ARTIST Bill Ward is a versatile accomplished pianist-organist-keyboard player, who has been been playing, studying, and realizing the potential of his musical talent his entire life. In New York City, he has over 20 years of experience as a musical director keyboard/organ player at many churches. Also, he played with many Jazz musicians and R&B bands as well as become a well known musician for luncheons, receptions, and special occasions. Now residing, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Bill is the Director of Music at First Baptist-West, and, the "Temple Organist" at Temple Beth-El. He has also played for several programs/recitals at Johnson C. Smith University, and various church programs throughout the city. He has continued to study and evolve as a musician, who is now expanding his goals to make more appearances in the Charlotte area where solo piano, jazz and gospel organ music is desired. From Bill to the "Listeners" : "This cd is the result of my asking God a question some time ago. The songs were selected from suggestions from friends and my personal feelings of songs that represent 'inspirational' periods in my life. I've been told that this is great "DRIVING IN THE CAR" music, hence, the inspiration for the cover graphic. On this project, I personally play all instruments on all tracks. What I thought initially might be a weakness, actually became a strength. I hope this music becomes a permanent addition to your car cd stack."
