Lynn Cooper Biography A Lynn Cooper concert is a reflection of the love and mercy the Almighty Father has for each one of us and also is a challenge to have a deeper walk with His Son, Jesus Christ. This is where Lynn Cooper is now but it hasn't always been that way. Lynn began her musical career as an 11 year old singing on local television in her home state of Nebraska, and continued her passion by studying vocal music at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She felt a calling to become a nurse and so gave up the dream of music and studied nursing at Creighton University. She became a Labor and Delivery Nurse and enjoyed helping with the miracle of new life. Soon however, she felt a tug on her heart that could only come from the Lord. After several years of discernment, Lynn returned to her roots in Christian music and since then it has been quite a ride. Lynn has released 5 albums and wrote the National Deacon's Conference theme song 2001 used in Sydney Australia. Lynn is not only gifted in music she is an accomplished writer as well. She has recently published a devotional prayer book entitled, "To You Alone" which is a companion to a full length CD of the same name. Her music has been featured several times on Song Seekers, a nationally syndicated radio show and has also been featured on EWTN's Life on the Rock and Backstage. She was one of 20 American Recording Artist chosen to perform at World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, Canada. Lynn also feels blessed to have a loving supportive family as her husband Mark, and their two children Riley and Lauren keep her lifted up in prayer as she travels the world sharing her gift with others.
