A resident of the Brandywine Valley in southeastern Pennsylvania, Dana Paul Robinson has been composing music for over forty years. By day a Senior Vice President in a Philadelphia bank, he pursues avidly the nighttime passion of capturing and coupling sensitive lyrics with memorable melodies. There is, he contends, a marvelous magic that occurs when original words are merged with a new tune in a simple and well structured song. The only thrill greater, he admits, is to experience the dynamic vibrancy arrangers and vocalists engender in his material as they apply their own fresh interpretations.

Certainly that vibrancy is accomplished in this CD with the remarkable arranging and piano playing of Mario Padovani, the superb vocal talent of Meeta Gajjar, and the musical skill of drummer Rich Mossman, bass player Al Price, saxophonist Jay Heath, and trumpet master Mario Toles.

Dana's creative impulse is not limited to the scores of stand-alone songs he has crafted. In addition to several liturgical pieces he has produced three albums and has composed the lyrics and music for five musicals. The public performance of his most ambitious musical, ADEODATA, has been highly acclaimed by the local press.

Convinced of music's power to touch lives, Dana is committed to the proposition that a single singer with a poignant song can change the world.
