mike has been playing music for about fifty years. he is the youngest of four brothers who were all influential in getting him started. he played with the johnny long orchestra in the late fifties and has performed with many stars such as totie fields, henny youngman, kitty kallen, pat cooper, the nelson riddle orchestra and many others. he has been on record dates with lou rawls and eddie montiero, and has performed with jazz artists harry allen, joe cocuzzo and george young. his playing is reminiscent of tommy dorsey and has developed a fine reputation as a musician with a velvet sound.
