"I am a self taught guitarist. I was raised in the South in the 60s and got my first cheap old guitar from my brother, Jim. I learned to play by listening to my brother's records. I would listen for hours to the Beatles, Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, Akkerman, Muddy Waters, B.B. King the guitar pioneers of their day. I started a band when I was 15 and never looked back. Music has always been an important part of my life and the guitar is like an extension of myself - My soul." Ann Simonson has been playing and performing since childhood. Ann is active in music education and performance. She has played in Eastern Europe and is in great demand regionally. This project represents a simple and heartfelt effort to create a restful and relaxed environment for the listener.
