Anne Wright grew up in Maine, was educated in Boston and developed her musical perspectives in the dignity of the parlor and the concert hall. Richard Warner grew up in Minnesota, was educated in Florida and nurtured his music in rowdy bar rooms, hotel dance halls and frat parties. Anne's focus was on keyboard and she studied the piano music of the Romantic era. Richard's influence by the Baroque masters was demonstrated through guitar and keyboard via heavy metal music and country rock. The two began worlds apart musically but discovered a mutual love of movie theme music upon meeting each other in the Florida Keys. A partnership joined the romance of Anne's background with the exotic earthiness of Richard's experiences. Jewels From The Reef is an album of piano music that is a result of this unlikely duo. Anne and Richard wrote the songs together, performed them together and produced the album together over a period of years.
