My name is Andrew Ross and I am 16 years old. I attend Southridge High School in Beaverton, Oregon. "Crossing" is my second CD, having released "Silent Skies" last fall. I have been composing songs since I was 6 years old and although I have had lessons for 4-5 years, I have not been able to master the technique of reading music. Therefore, I play by ear and what's in my head at the time. My goal in life is to attend film school and become a movie director, as well as write musical scores for films. I have been a fan of Michael Allen Harrison since I was 8 years old and credit him for inspiring my musical style. I am very active in the St. Luke Lutheran Church youth group and last year, out of the proceeds of the sale of Silent Skies, was able to donate over $300 to the Northeast Emergency Food Bank. I also participate weekly in the Beaverton Youth Peer Court system, which I find to be a very interesting and challenging process.
