The Pulltab Playboys play both kinds of music - Country AND Western. They began playing these musics in 1997 as "Slim Fast and His Pulltab Playboys" but decided that the name was too long and changed it to just "Slim Fast" but all that got them was a bunch of threatening letters from lawyers. So they agreed on "The Pulltab Playboys". They continue to pioneer the genre of "faux country" singing songs about the everyday pleasures of drinking beer, dating women in prison, and "eatin' tang" - the powdered breakfast drink of course. Most of these songs they make up themselves. By the way, many are rated R, so don't ya let no youngen's 'round this record.
