Joe Worrel, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and bass guitarist, started playing guitar at age 7. By the time he was 15 he was performing over 250 dates a year at state fairs, legion halls, VFW's and dim lit barrooms. Joe played bass for CMA award-winner Martina McBride and many others. Joe was a member of the "Crossplaines Band" and received the award for best new country band 2004 from the (NACMA) North American Country Music Assoc. Joe has shared the stage with: Toby Keith, Lonestar, Tracy Byrd, Pam Tillis, Chris Ledoux, Sammy Kershaw and other top recording artists while he was the featured vocalist with the Southern Exposure Band for over eight years on their Miller beer sponsored tours across the USA. You might have also seen him picking bluegrass at festivals and barn jams in the north Georgia mountains or even in a Chicago blues bar over the last few years. Joe lives in the midwest performing with his band "Honky Tonk Nation". Joe performs his music around the World telling lies and bringing truth to the many myths about the evils of dancehall music and the damage it can do. Be warned, listening to Joe can make you drink too much whiskey, sell your worldly possessions for vintage musical instruments and give you feelings of heartache, happiness, and the overwhelming urge to hoop and holler.
