Born in Merritt, BC, Canada, Joe Lonsdale received an early start on his country music career. Being born into a talented family, Joe has been a performer since the age of two. his first public singing appearance came at the tender age of five. By the age of fourteen, Joe had acquired his first guitar and written his first song. The age of eighteen opened up a variety of new opportunities for this young musician. Joe soon formed his own band, "Rainbow Country" in 1972. Rainbow Country traveled extensively performing in places like Grand Cayman in the Caribbean as well as many others. The group also played in Germany for Canadian troops as well as Rota, Spain for the U.S.O., entertaining the U.S. Navy.
