i was born into country music as my dad had a ten piece band called the sons of oklahoma. in highschool my band was the melody ranchers, and in college the melody ranch hands. i have played country music since age seven, played in many bands and written country music all my life. growing up on the ranch, we always listened to country music on the radio and in the truck as we did our ranch chores. i love the country, and i love country music! i learned to play the fiddle at age seven, at ten i played the guitar. at age twenty the mandolin and banjo became part of my musical repertoire. i come from the country and country is what i am. i hope you enjoy this cd, real country, as much as i did writing the words and music.
