A Little about JIM SLIPGAP: While working as a NASA Spacecraft Engineer in the Washington, DC area, Jim would sometimes perform as a Singer/Songwriter at some local open Club Events and at special events on the NASA Complex. By using his “easy-going†Country Boy charm (and a little arm twisting), he was able to force “The Saddle Tramps†into the recording studio for this project. Being a native Tennessean, Jim has just relocated and is now living the good life on his farm in Tennessee. A little about “THE SADDLE TRAMPSâ€: MIKE AULDRIDGE: (Pedal Steel) Mike has performed for Jay Leno on the “Tonight Show†and with such artists as Linda Ronstadt, Emmylu Harris and Dolly Parton, just to name a few. He has toured with Lyle Lovett and was a founding member of the “Seldom Scene Bluegrass Band†and the “Chesapeake†Band. A legend in his own right T. MICHAEL COLEMAN: (Bass, Vocals) Tee was a “Side-man†for Doc Watson for many years and a member of the “Seldom Scene" Band and a founding member of the “Chesapeake†Band. He is a very talented Singer, Songwriter and musician (some think under rated). BOBBY SPATES: (Fiddle, Vocals) During normal working hours, you might find “Robert†working at the Kennedy Center where his fiddle magically turns into a Stradivarius. But, at night, and on the weekends, you might enter a local Washington club to find “Bobby†playing a hot Bluegrass Breakdown with a hot Bluegrass Band.
