"Those of you who already listen to my music know that I try to paint a picture of life. Since I am from Maine, the material most often refers to rural and coastal times and places. But, it seems to me that values, family and tradition are pretty universal. Change a noun here and there and you are describing town, city or country. I suspect your ethnic background, material standing or physical location changes little, other than giving you identity. Ask a child if he would like a present. Ask an old person what they remember as a kid. Ask a parent what they would like for their child. The answers will be pretty much the same. Old Sailor's Christmas is a collection of Downeast Maine values and memories which I hope is a Christmas present to you all.
