From the day she took her first steps to the ripe old age of four, Anna knew more about the fifty states than she did about her own home town of Dallas, Texas. Although her life was carefree at such a young age, her special distinction as the youngest roadie for her family of traveling musicians, The Conner Family Band, also gave her much responsibility. After all, somebody had to carry the tambourine. As she traversed the United States with her mother, father and four uncles who performed with such artists as the Beach Boys, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash, she knew she was destined to follow in her family's footsteps. She credits her father, a prolific song writer and accomplished musician, for her love of lyrics. " What I cherished the most as a young girl was accompanying my father to Nashville and listening to him perform and record his original music in the studio." Though their styles are very different, he taught her many of the basic elements that all good songs share. With a dictionary and thesaurus at her side, Anna never relents until she finds the perfect word. Anna started writing professionally only two years ago and since then has been offered a recording contract from a new label in Nashville, which she turned down to raise her children. With a BFA in radio-tv-film, Anna graduated from college and turned down a field reporter job to persue her true love of the performing arts. As fate would have it, she met her husband on her very first professional acting gig where she played a saloon girl who served a very handsome cowboy a drink, and then married him two years later. Anna now resides in Dallas with her husband, Todd, who is an actor and realtor. She and Todd are the very proud parents of two precious sons, who fill their lives with love and inspiration. Anna is represented by the Mary Collins Agency and works in television and radio. She is a choreographer and does some studio singing. Some of her clients include Nokia, Samsung, Dillard's, Bloomingdales, Bennigan's, Pier 1, Mary Kay,Frito Lay, and many more.
