Kimberley Eve JaiaWise resides part time at Touchstone Studio and Yoga Center in Western Mass. Her songs were seldom heard until Anja Daniel (one of Touchstone's owners) added them to her traveling repetoire. As a troubadour, Anja collects and plays international songs. Shaker McNeil (Touchsones other owner and a great benefactor of the arts) decided the songs should be recorded because, as he says, "the music could be played in any Country Western bar, yet has the sensitivity and grace of a Sappho poem". Touchsone is also a sacred Circle Dance center containing the largest archive of circle dance music on the continent. The music comes from all over the world. Some pieces date back to Neolithic times and others are modern. We dance for various intentions, but in the circle, everyone is connected and basically equanimous. There is lots of touching and powerful music on the Touchstone Farm label and their web page is www.sacredcircles.com. Touchstone also houses a wonderful recording studio available to artists at a reasonable cost. This is where "Summerland" was recorded in between weeding the garden. From the kindness of their hearts, many friends and associates helped to create this CD. Besides being a good seller and very well received, It turned out to be a mudra that helped complete old cycles and begin new ones. Kimberley Eve is also a face and body painter at Renaissance Faires. She body paints as a form of transformational color therapy for clients. Jaia is in agreement with her soul to make her challenging living doing nourishing things like music and art. She appreciates being part of Touchstone and the mutual support system there. She is most often somewhere warm during winter, blessed be! As a Gemini Tiger, she loves creative expression and honest luxury. She is also an herbalist and eats weeds almost every day.
