Kerry Davis is a native of Indiana and is a professional firefighter in Indianapolis. He lives in the country on a small horse ranch. His dream is to have success as a songwriter and musician. Kerry began playing guitar at about 13 and has sang and played in church for years. In 1993 he got serious about music and began writing for the first time. Since then he has penned about 100 songs both country and gospel. From tender ballads to upbeat tempos, Kerry writes from the heart. Songs about life, relationships, pain and love. Kerry has honed his writing and performing skills over the past few years by performing in various clubs, coffee houses, churches and private parties. He has been featured in newspaper articles and performs weekly to expose his music to the public. He was a finalist in the 1997 TNN National Songwriting Contest. Kerry went to Nashville to do all of the recording for his CD and gained a wealth of knowledge from that experience. He now has his own recording studio and is currently recording tracks for his next CD release in 2002. "Most of my writing involves topics that I am sensitive to but I do write the occasional song with a lighter subject matter just for fun. You can't be serious all of the time you know! Some of the songs are from experiences I have had and some of them come from people I have known. A few have even been pulled from thin air.
