Kate was born and raised in Albany, NY. Her credits include performing as a soloist at Six Flags, Great Adventure and as lead production singer on Carnival Cruise Lines, the “MS Fascinationâ€. She also had a supporting role in the independent film “Earthen Vesselsâ€, where her singing was featured. Kate moved to Nashville in March of 2005 to pursue her dream of becoming a successful recording artist. Most recently, Kate was the opening act for one of her idols, country legend Loretta Lynn. She was also a Tennessee State finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown and performed in Knoxville at the Tennessee Valley Fair on September 15th. Kate is currently showcasing her talent at the famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Broadway. Her next show is March 8th from 5:30-7:30PM. Come check out The Kate Murphy Band!
