Karree j. Phillips was born in Prince George, Canada. She was raised on a ranch 6 miles North of Fort St. John, British Columbia on mile 49 of the Alaska Highway. Karree's country roots are planted deep with her strong rural background being raised on her Mother's cattle and horse ranch. Music has always been a big part of her childhood, performing in Musical Theatre Productions, Rodeos, and Arts festivals where she earned the Grand Aggregate Award for highest scores in her region for four years consecutivly in her region. Phillips began her professional career as one half of the New Canadian Sweethearts whose song , THE FRENCH SONG, was a million dollar seller and Karree's version continues to woo audiences during her stage performances throughout Europe. Her wide vocal range and dynamic stage performance has made her an International Star as quoted by some Danish Magazines," Headliner Karree J. Phillips, finally came on the hieght of the evening with her cartwheeling entry and great show, and how she can sing. Her performances earned Karree a covetted spot on Denmark's largest Festival in Skive for the BEACH PARTY and in Silkeborg opening for such acts as Grand Ole Opry Stars, Billie Jo Spears, Charlie McCoy, Tommy Cash, Honky Tonk Angels from Los Vegas and appeared with rockin country Texan Dale Watson a long time friend of hers in the Los Angeles performing circut. Karree performed in Los Angeles with her band "The Ramblers" as Karree j. Rose for six years. She performed for the Military Bases and the LA club circut before moving to Nashville. Karree j. Phillips continues to woo European Audiences with two tours in Denmark booked for 2001 in May22-June4 and another in August on a private Horse Ranch for their Country Days. Included in this tour she will be performing in Germany and Sweden. Her current CD PURE ENERGY is recieving vast airplay in Denmark, Sweden and Canada. The Canadian written song, number 6 on the PURE ENERGY CD entitled, DOG ON THE DASH is a mini hit in Denmark where Line Dances are performed to it and other Danish bands perform the song. Line Dancing is very popular in Europe. Mr. Wilson is currently co-producing with Buddy Cannon in Budrow Productions In Nashville, TN. Look for their names on CMT. They are heavy hitters on the Nashville Music Scene. Karree's hard work earned her an exclusive interview on the Opry Spotlight Radio Show on WSM 650AM with Mathew Gillian. She performed live and they played cuts from her CD PURE ENERGY AND NEW SONGS which was released in Denmark. Since coming Nashville Karree J. Phillips has toured with GRand Ole Opry Star DEL REEVES and continues to do shows with him throughout the US and Nashville.
