DOS COYOTES writes the kind of songs fans most appreciates...feel good, escapist lyrics and catchy music with emotional south of the border themes. Originating from Scottsdale, Arizona, the duo consists of Mark Tait(lead singer/songwriter/guitar) and Gene Smeed(singer/songwriter/guitar). Their music brings a blend of that new country rock sound - meets what they call "Mexican Surf Music" a hip today sound that doesn't sound like " a song by committee" that fills up country radio these days. These guys aren't your typical artists that one sees in today's video's standing out in the field strumming an unplugged electric guitar they can't play, a Nashville cliché. They both write their own songs, play guitar and sing...a dynamic getting tougher and tougher to find. These guys have the "It", country music wants and needs. DOS COYOTES signature song, "Mambo to Cabo" is a upbeat song that kick's off the Mexican surf music wave by transporting the listener to believe and dream they can live like Ricky and Lucy - movie stars - in Cabo, where life consists of beaches, romance and living the laid back lifestyle in Cabo.
