To mark the 10th anniversary of the release of Ian Coltaire's ground-breaking country crossover album & as a precursor to the imminent release of his latest offering, "Another Saturday Night & It's Still Tuesday", Bobbysox Music has reissued 1993's "Ebony Nights, Ivory Towers" for a limited period.

The album was ahead of its time, incorporating elements of country music mixed with urban soul & straight ahead rock n' roll. Today, it would be called Americana. Back then, we called it Urban Country.

What U.S. Radio had to say about "Ebony Nights, Ivory Towers"

"I like Ian Coltaire. His brand of country has a New Orleans or Memphis style of country to me & that is a genre in country music that is basically absent. He fills the void". (KUAS, Texas)

"Very unique voice. Kind of Joe Cocker/Johnny Paycheck". (WXCE, Wisconsin)

"Great sound! Excellent mix!" (WHAK, Michigan)

"Good uptempo song. I'd love to hear a dance remix". (KINO, Arizona)

"Ian's music is great". (KDEO, Hawaii)

"Good Stuff - Can use. Keep the good product coming". (WKCW, Virginia)

"Hearts Of The Night (1st single off the album) - Don't pass this one up". (YAX, California)

"Hearts Of The Night by Bruce Springsteen? No, it's Ian Coltaire". (Music Review, Poughkeepsie, NY.)
